From acting to scrapbooking to blogging, creativity has always been a significant part of what I do and who I am.
Expressing myself through words has always brought me the most joy. It also led me to pursue a Journalism degree at Washburn University and return to Overland Park to begin a rewarding journey as a digital storyteller.
Over the last year, I've lived in the world of cars, trucks, and SUVs as a copywriter for an automotive company. With everything I've learned, I'm now ready to move on to a new creative opportunity.
How I got HERE
Current position: Dealer.com Copywriter II at Cox Automotive in Mission, KS.
Post-college contract: Email writer, hired by Experis, for Sprint in Overland Park, KS.
Summer internship: Marketing intern for SPX Cooling Technologies in Overland Park, KS.
On-campus experience: Staff reporter for Washburn Review newspaper in Topeka, KS.
College experience: Mass Media courses gave opportunity to explore creative fields like writing, copyediting, blogging, graphic design, reporting, and photography.
